Printer stuck on Canon Screen

I have a Canon TS8222 which was working fine at first.  Currently the printer is stuck on the Canon screen.  I have unplugged the printer and tried to restart multiple times.  The printer is only one year old and I barely used it so it is basically brand new.  Any suggestions on how to get past this screen.

If you have tried unplugging and restarting the printer and it still wont get past the Canon  screen, the printer will require service. 

If your printer is still in warranty and you have a copy of the printer's proof of purchase, Canon does have a chat team that would be happy to assist you with a warranty exchange.
