Printer Won't Print Unless I Power It Off and On

My printer does not print unless I power it off, and then back on. Also works if I unplug it for 5 minutes. I bought this mega tank printer with excitement, thinking I could print photos for a long time. Now it won't even print color, and all the tanks are full. What is going on?

I own a Canon 6d, a Canon T3i, and some Canon powershots. Love the digital cameras, hating this printer. And I can't find my receipt. This printer worked for maybe a month, and then started having these issues. So tired of NO support and garbage electronics made in China. How about a recall, Canon? And own up to the unreliable consumer products you're creating. Not happy wasting my money. 

Will no longer purchase ANYTHING Canon unless this can be resolved shortly. No longer your customer.
