Printer MG6600 - Printing color broken lines

Hello Friends,

Hope you all are doing great !!
My every fully functinoing Canon MG6600 has recently started to give problems in printing, since i bought it 4 years ago.

All of a sudden, since a month, it has started to print broken color lines instead of texts. 

 

And also, when i ask the printer to print in black/greyscale, it prints broken lines in color.

I did all the testing that print has in its options i.e., Cleaning, Deep cleaning, Print head alignment, nozzle check etc.

But when i even try printing the test paper, it doesn't not print graphics or text, but only print broken color lines.

 

Please let me know what else can i do to resolve this. The ink catriges have more than 25% ink (75% was wasted in testing out all sorts of testing).

Hi sppavankumar,

 

Please follow these steps:

 

1.  Swipe the HOME screen of your printer and then tap the wrench and screwdriver icon.

 

2.  Select Maintenance.

 

3.  Select Print nozzle check pattern.

 

4.  Select Yes.

 

Please compare your printout to the example below.  Does your nozzle check match the example?

I did try the procedure that you had suggested and I ended up getting the attached Printer.JPG

 

Does this mean the printer is out of shape ?

Because you have performed printhead cleanings and the nozzle check still does not print correctly, your PIXMA MG6220 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program.
