Print Head cleaning leads to web page with privacy warning

Ladyholly

I followed the directions to go to Printer and scanners to Option Supplies and then clicked on show printer webpage.  When I click on that, what comes up is connection is not private and that it could be someone trying to steal either personal or financial data. Has that comes up for anyone else?

Normally when using Windows, and you want to perform print head cleaning you go to  settings printers and scanners select printer then printer properties, and choose the maintenance tab, where you will find all the cleaning options. This could change depending on the printer.

Thank you!

Greetings ,

This is completely normal. The printer's web server does not use SSL encryption by default  http vs. https

Do not be alarmed. It's fine.  See my attached image where it says not secure in the address bar.  😉
