For the MX922 you can try removing the print head and putting it back in but if the error does not clear, the issue is with the print head.
Also, for your MP480, try a nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning.
f you have run and cleaning and deep cleaning but the issue remains, it looks like the printer has experienced an internal hardware issue and would need to be replaced.
