Pixma8720 won't print to A3 paper, spits it out

I am on a Mac printing to a Pizma 8720 printer. I am trying to print to A3 paper. I have never had any issues in the past and last night I went to print and it would feed the paper and then spit it out and start blinking orange. I checked the ink, reinstalled drivers, and can't figure out what is going on. I tried printing to US letter paper and it worked fine. I am guessing it is reading the paper as the wrong paper size, but not sure. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes it has worked in the past. I finally figured it out. I had to make sure I was adding the printer in settings using the Canon Network and not Bonjour or the picking it from the quick menu on the setting screen. Had to actually click add printer and choose it from the list.

Have you printed on A3 paper previously with success? Specs don't list A3, do list A3+.

If if you go into the driver there may be a setting to don't check paper width.

Right. The old Bonjour vs IJ Network problem.
