I have a PIXMA MP460 series multifunction printer/scanner/photo copier. It prints fine and photo copies as well but when I try to use the scanner, it does nothing. I've downloaded the driver from this website a couple of times but still it does nothing. I'm on Windows 8.1 the What should I do?

Hi there
Make sure that u downloaded the correct driver for your windows, click system on the search bar, click on system menu, under system type, does it say 32 or 64 bit?
If it say 32 u need a driver for win 8.1 (32 bit)
But if it say 64 then u need a driver for (64 bit)
So i suggested u to download it one more time on this website ( for printer driver not scanner)
Then go to device and printets, right click and remove your canon printer list there
Next go to control panel, click uninstall all of your printer programs/drivers
Next step, restart your pc, install the printer driver, turn on and reconnect ur printer only when ask by setup, when it finished, install your scanner driver, restart one last time and then see how it print and scans
I dont have any idea if it still cant work properly but
Let me know if its not solve your problems
