Hi: I have a new Canon and I need a longer cord to reach a power strip (no nearby outlet). Ideally I’d like to just replace the existing power cord with a longer one (versus buying an extension cord and attaching that to the power strip). I see many on Amazon that say they’re compatible with various Pixma series and even specifically the TS series. Is there any danger in using these? In general, I mean; I know you probably can’t comment on specific brands. Or if Canon makes their own longer cords I’d gladly buy that.
Thanks!
