PIXMA TS9120 PB ink tank low, print is unusable

My printer is no longer printing as it should

Question: Is it necessary to have the ink PB (photo blue) loaded in my printer to be able to print...even though I don't print photos?

I ask because my printer (PIXMA -TS9120) has suddenly stopped printed anything useable. The only ink not at least half-full is the PB, and it is empty.  The output is totally illegible and almost colorless.

If the problem is not the PB ink cartridge, ??any ideas??.    This printer was working just fine a week ago.  I ran the cleaner, alignment, etc.

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Hi,

If you remove a cartridge from the printer, you will receive an error code and be unable to print. If the cleanings and replacing the ink did not resolve the issue, the printer would require service.

Ithe printer is in its 1-year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

You can take advantage of this offer by calling the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
