I bought a new printer in February and ran out of black ink last week. The required ink cartridge is PG275. There are none to be had - not in retail stores, not at Canon on line, not at on-line stores like Amazon. So I have a printer that cannot print and I have deadlines to meet. If this is the way Canon supports its products, then I'm off the brand for good.

If I have mission critical work, like printing on a deadline, I always have a new cartridge on hand. When the first runs out I just install the second and then have time to replace the empty one with new.
