G’day all. I’ve power cycled the printer which worked for some time when it was giving error messages. Don’t recall specific code. Just said “turn printer off and contact product service center” or something similar. I’d unplug it, hold power button for half a minute, leave it unplugged for hours, then come plug it in and it would start and operate fine for a while. Finally it said “no mas” and the light wouldn’t come on and power up. Is this a repair easily done? I replaced the power module, not the problem, waste of money. Read the power board(?) has a couple fuses and capacitors that could be issues. Is this all considered too expensive for a printer. THank you for your thoughts. Best, Peter

Hello Pfmet,
At this point it does look like the printer needs service. It would usually be more cost effective to replace instead of repair at this point. Outside of the 1 year warranty, you can contact our sales department at 1-800-652-2666 to use our Upgrade Program. The Upgrade program will give you a discount and free shipping on a replacement printer.
