Pixma MP250 P02 Error

My Pixma MP250 orignally had a E03 Paper Jam error. I managed to remove the jammed paper and solve that. 

Now I have a ********* P02 error with the cartridge holder slamming like its nobodies business. I have googled, youtubed, checked the cartridges, checked for foreign material, you name it. NOTHING HELPS!

Unfortunately the service tool is useless as the error is so consistent that the printer fails to communicate with my pc.

Can somebody give me practical and useable advice on what I can do to get rid of this blooming error before I smack the printer to the dustbin with a 4 pound hammer
