I'm getting a issue when I try print/add the printer- "
You need to install software to use this printer. To install the software, choose App Store… from the Apple menu. If the software for your printer isn’t available in App Store…, contact the manufacturer of your printer."
I decided to remove the installation of the software and add it once again but I don't see macOS 10.15 listed in the software setup downloads page. Is the issue related to compatibility?

Greetings,
Software for your printer is available from Canon. (Catalina 10.15 specific)
The Full drivers package will install the printer Drivers and product manual.
or
The CUPS driver is a basic printer driver, no manual
You do not need both. If you want the manual, install the full, if not the CUPS
Then
You also need to install the ICA driver to support scanning.
