I have a MG2120 printer/scanner that stated scanning with a blue back ground. It prints with the correct background. I removed all canon drivers and reinstalled, but still get the blue background when I try to scan a document with color lettering.

What version of Windows are you using?
If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?
What program are you using to scan? Are you scanning using the MP Navigator EX?

My system is windows 10. I don't use MP Navigator EX. I click on devices and printers and then click on my printer
