Pixma IP110 Resizing Issue

Does anyone know how to center a resized image prior to printing? I have tried everything. Whenever i scale it down it goes to the left hand corner but i need it to be centered. I do not see a setting for this in my printer preferences.

The placement of the image would be performed using the photo editing/viewing software that you are using to print the image.
