Will not print on labels (Avery labels). My text will print on standard paper, but when I use label paper, the paper feeds through the printer without printing.
It worked fine the last time I printed labels about two or three months ago.
What do I need to do to get it to print on label paper?
Thank you

Same paper that worked fine months ago?

Yes, Avery 5160 1"x2⅝" labels.

I normally print on three types of paper, both plain and photo paper prints, but label paper feeds through without printing. I also tried Avery Filing Labels, and the same problem exist.

What's the number of the Avery label sheets?

I have a few different Avery sheets. I have been using White Address Labels # 5160 and Assorted Filing Labels # 5266 for this test.

Have you tried feeding from the rear feeder, or are you only using the tray?

From the rear. I did not know that there is a tray feed on Pixma iP8720.
Anyway, ran an experiment. I added labels to the back of my label paper to make it thicker, and then it printed on the paper.
It appears that, for some reason, the printer stopped accepting the lighter-weight label paper. I bought the printer about 8 years ago, it might be just wearing out?
Thank you for your time.
