PIXMA iP8720 DOES NOT print 12x12 files

I bought this printer because it was specifically advertised as being able to print 12x12 for scrapbooking. Now I'm seeing that the only way to actually do that is to buy 13x19 paper and trim it down, which is extremely wasteful. Is there no other way? Is there any particular reason Canon neglects to include that in the product description? If this is the case, I will spend the rest of this year (at least) writing enough reviews to make sure everyone I come into contact with on social media knows that they're going to waste enough paper using this printer to wallpaper a house. SO ANGRY

Hi!  It's 2026 and I'm now needing to print 12x12" borderless. 😁 I've been fiddling with my Canon ip8720 for a couple of days now to see if I could trick this darn thing to print 12x12" borderless, but everything I've tried has failed.  What was your secret???  Please help if you are still out there!  Thank you!

I've only ever been able to print bordered 12 x 12 on 12 x 12 paper. If I want a borderless 12 x 12 I now just print them on the 13 x 19 photo paper. Price wise the same anyway and super easy to do. I just add a bunch of other photos usually (plenty of space for another 6 x 12!).
