Hi. My 1 year old printer does what sounds like cleaning activities then, when about to print, emits a loud grating sound followed by an error message that states there is a object clogging something. There is none.Support Code 5100. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a cartridge carriage problem, the 5100 is related to a serious error with the cartridges or the print head. Check for some kind of obstruction around the heads and the rollers. Open all doors and make a very careful examination of the inside of the printer.
