PIXMA TS9500 series won't print double-sided.

When I choose double-sided it says to indicate when to print the secod page, but when I do, it prints the 2nd side on another sheet of paper.

Thanks for joining the conversation, karencohen!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA TS9500 series.  The model number should appear at the bottom right corner of the printer's movable control panel. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Sounds like you are printing manually. If so, are you reloading the page as discussed in the manual?

The printer can auto-duplex, or you can duplex manually. In Manual, it prints the first side, you flip the paper over, and tell it to do the second side. If you tell it to print the second side before you put the sheets back in, it'll print on the blank paper.

Read page 299 in the Manual:
