I have a Canon TS9500 Printer. I replaced the Cyan and BK ink cartridges with Genuine Canon Ink. It will not print either of those now. Here is the picture of the Check Nozzle page. I have done a Clean and a Deep Clean. What can be done to fix this? Cyan is not full color all the way across.Cyan is not full color all the way across.

Thanks for the help. I did let it sit an it did not fix the problem after running the Nozzle check and the deep clean. What did help is taking a qtip to the round white piece in the center of each of the print heads for these colors. As soon as I did that, and reinserted ink cartridges they worked. I am back to printing.

Hi Nicole! Thanks for contributing to the Canon Community! I see that the black and cyan ink are not coming out properly after changing the ink cartridges. You also mention that you have tried the cleaning and deep cleaning option.

You can try reseating the print head (taking it out and putting it back in). The instructions can be found in the following web article:
https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART180793

If reseating the print head does not help, I recommend checking how you did the deep cleans earlier. We do recommend performing the Deep Cleaning up to 3 times.  For best results, please wait at least 6-18 hours between each deep cleaning attempt. This gives the fresh ink time to soak through the clog and loosen it (like drain cleaner).

Doing the deep cleans consecutively (without waiting) may not help because the clog may still be too hard to loosen. If you wait longer than 24-36 hours, you could be giving the clog time to harden up again.

If reseating the print head and the three deep cleans do not help, the printer requires service.

The printer does come with a one-year warranty. If you purchased your printer within the last year or if you purchased a warranty extension directly from Canon on or around the date of purchase and it is still active, I recommend that you create a Canon Account, register the printer, and call us at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 PM Eastern time.

You can create your Canon Account and register the printer at the following website:

https://myprofile.americas.canon.com/us/signin

If the warranty has expired, it might be more cost effective to purchase a replacement than to pay someone to fix your printer. Through our Canon Upgrade Program, we can offer you a discount and free shipping on a new printer. If you are interested in that, please call (866) 443-8002 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Eastern Time), Monday through Friday to speak with one of our sales agents who would be happy to help you.

I hope this information helps. Thanks for choosing Canon.
