New ink tanks installed and heads cleaned, test page only prints in black and white. Has worked perfectly in the past. Only quit working properly when I purchased a new laptop with Windows 11. Please help.

The Canon PIXMA TS9120 may experience color printing issues after upgrading to Windows 11. This can occur due to driver compatibility problems or settings that need adjustment. Choose start/settings/printers and scanners/your printer/printing preferences/quick setup check all the page types to make sure grayscale is not checked.
Printer Preferences: Open the printer settings by choosing start button, then printers and scanners. Then choose your printer printer preferences, quick setup and check all the page types to make sure greyscale is not checked.
Print Quality Settings: Adjust the print quality settings to ensure they are set to a color option rather than black and white.
Driver Update: Visit the Canon support website to download the latest drivers for the PIXMA TS9120. Ensure you install the full software package, not just the basic driver.

Hey Derrick,
Thanks for the suggestions but I tried all of your solutions and still get the same output. When I printed a test page after software update, I get only black and white, no color. Also, if I try to print a color picture from my IPhone 16, I get a blank print.
The printer sounds like it is printing perfectly, but the results are not. Not sure where to go from here.

Greetings,
While we review your issue, I had a couple of questions.
Are the inks you replaced Canon brand or third party?
How is the printer connected and to what?
What app are you printing from on your mobile device? Photos App, Canon Print, etc?
What drivers did you actually install? Note there are both 8 and 16 bit?
Use this for reference:

We might have other questions depending on your responses. 😉

Rick,
1. Definitely only use Canon ink, ordered from their website.
2. Printer and laptop connected by wifi.
3. App on IPhone is recommended Canon Selphy. Worked perfect on previous laptop.
4. To be sure, I redownloaded from your suggestion. Still get same results, no color.

How did you print the test page, in other words from where? Try this:
Power On the Printer
Ensure that your PIXMA TS9120 is turned on and ready.
Load Paper
Insert a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper into the paper cassette.
Access the Home Screen
Tap the "Home" button on the printer's control panel.
Navigate to Setup
Use the arrow keys to scroll to the "Setup" option and select it.
Select Maintenance
In the Setup menu, find and select "Maintenance."
Print Nozzle Check Pattern
Choose the option to "Print Nozzle Check Pattern." This will initiate the test print.
Confirm the Action
Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm that you want to print the nozzle check pattern.

Performed these steps as suggested, message said nozzle not clogged and does not require cleaning.
Ready to toss printer and buy a new one.

Did the test function print the colors?

No just as before. Only black and white.

Printing a nozzle check test page from the printer control panel/screen with the same result tells me that this not a Win 11 driver/software issue, it is a component failure in the printer itself. It seems to me that the ink feed from the color cartridges no longer works, and the printer does not see any cartridge or print head errors. I think you may need to consider replacing the printer, considering repair cost compared to new printer price. I believer other members here might agree.
