PIXMA TS6420a Print specific pages of a document

I have a new Canon Pixma Ts6420a printer and am using Windows 11 OS. When attempting to print specific pages in the print menu, nothing happens (it shows up on the queue as "spooling" but never prints. Unable to restart the queue). If I select all pages in a document, it works. Just cannot print a specific page or range of pages.

Hello!

It sounds frustrating to have your new Canon Pixma TS6420a printer refuse to print specific pages or ranges while happily printing entire documents. This is a common issue often linked to the print driver or the print spooler. To fix this, first, clear and reset your print spooler by stopping the service, deleting the temporary print files in C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, and then restarting the service. Next, ensure your printer drivers are up to date by visiting Canon's official support site for your TS6420a model and downloading the latest Windows 11 drivers. It's often best to completely uninstall your current printer drivers and software before performing a clean installation of the new ones. Finally, try running the Windows Print Troubleshooter found in Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. These steps should help get your printer back to full functionality.

I was able to coax it into printing page 1 only but not any other page or page range. Also, if I ask it to print only page 4, it prints page 1 instead. I am putting this printer back in the box and returning it to Best Buy. I do not have time to spend hours troubleshooting it. I guess it's too cheap to expect it to work properly.
