PIXMA TS202 is spitting out blank pages

Kaga

Every time I try to print, it outputs a blank sheet of paper. No error message is coming up. At first I thought the ink cartridge was empty, so I installed a new one. Even with the new one installed, it's still printing blank sheets. The printer says the ink levels are full and it knows when I installed the cartridge, so I know it knows that the cartridge is there. I removed the plastic thing on the cartridge when I installed it (and I got ink on my finger while fussing with it, so I know it's not blocked - ink can physically come out of this thing). I turned the printer off and back on again. I unplugged it and turned it back on again. I removed and re-inserted the ink cartridge. I updated the printer's firmware. It's still spitting out blank sheets.

I'm using macOS Monterey. My printer is a Pixma TS202, and it was printing things just fine until an hour ago when this problem started.

I did a nozzle check that night, did an automatic cleaning and a deep cleaning, and still the test prints came out blank.

I bought a new ink cartridge yesterday though, and the printer is working fine. I guess it had to be a defective cartridge.

Hi,

Please click HERE for the steps to print a nozzle check. Once it prints, click the link in step 5 and let us know if your print out looks like the sample provided.

We look forward to your reply.
