I have a PIXMA TR8620 that has worked fine for some time. I purchased a new Windows 11 machine and after installing, it won't print astrology symbols. When I create a chart, it looks fine in Word, PDF, Paint, etc. Even in Print Preview it looks fine. But when it actually prints onto paper, the astrology glyphs don't print at all. Just nothing where they should be. If I can't find a way to make this work, the printer is useless to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it print other things like photos correctly?

It seems to be printing everything else just fine.

This is just a guess. Where are you acquiring these symbols? Depending on what format they are they might embed in the documents that you create but can not be printed.
Try this create a page with the symbols in it and then use the Windows snipping tool to create a clip and see if that prints. The key combination for the tool is Win Key>shift>s at the same time.

I would have considered this, but the files are created from both desktop programs and an online program. And they used to print just fine on this same printer with my older Windows 10 machine.

What font are you using to create the symbols? Wingdings or something else. Windows 11 may have changed the way some of these fonts are handled.
