PIXMA TR8620a - printing out poor quality

Just went to print out an 8 page document(black and white)and come to find out most of it come out blurry and several lines just not legible. But when I printed out a document that was a single paragraph it came out clear. I have changed cartridges that needed changing. Done a nozzle check and even a deep cleaning. Also did print head alignment. My regular black ink is probably due to change soon just by visual inspection of what's in there but it has not registered on the machine.

What is causing this? Should I just change out the regular black ink ahead of schedule and lose all the ink that is in there still? I definitely can't keep printing out 8 pages only to find it comes out like garbage.

UPDATE: I have tried everything I could. Nozzle check, cleaning, deep cleaning. Removing and reinstalling cartridges. Almost anything I saw in the help listings. All that wastes is ink and when I try to print something to see if it worked then it still remains the same. Is it even worth having it sent to be fixed if there's some issue with it? Brand new cartridges in and it seems first page is always clear then subsequent pages are streaked or blurry as shown in my photos. I just assume order a new unit and it's too bad this one is only 2 years old. Only run into this issue after changing one cartridge.

Hi mws_1984,

It would appear that your PIXMA TR8620a would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.

I wish I had known about this sooner because I posted about it last week and nobody seemed to have an answer and I didn’t even see anything about an upgrade program in my searches, but I ended up buying the same product so I don’t even know what I can do with the one that’s having an issue now. Obviously I don’t need to upgrade it and get another printer if I just got another one and it’s working just fine. Is there any way to get some kind of credit if I sent it back to a company or something like that maybe get some credit towards ink or something.
