PIXMA TR8620a - Switch to Rear Tray

GramaJo

  • I purchase a canon Pixma TR8620a just before Thanksgiving, but after getting it set up haven’t managed to work with it until now. I found how to set up using card stock, but now I don’t know how to make it use the rear tray. It printed what I wanted, except it printed it on plain paper from the cassette!

Hi,

What version of Windows or MacOS is your computer running?

We look forward to your reply.

I use Windows 10  or iOS iPhone or iOS iPad', but I also need to copy artwork on card stock.

I also have a Pixmatr8620a. Have had it for about 2 to 3 years,  but rarely ever use it. First of all,  I had no idea there was a tray underneath the printer. Where is it? I'm not an idiot. I use printers at work all the time, but can't find this one. Also, if I turn in the printer after it being off, it will grab paper about 2 or 3 times,  but then I get the "out of paper " warning. Everything is perfect. I see a lot of others who are having the same issue.

Well I don't have the problem of grabbing paper. Could. The tray you're talking about be the loet paper tray? It is under the open flap and has a paper holder that flips out when you pull it out?
