For some reason my Printer and MAC are no longer communicating. Both are on the same network and I have since deleted the printer from my Mac and reloaded the printer driver. I've gone back through the wireless set up and get all the way to the end and it says they are not communicating. I cannot find the printer available on bluebooth either.
I have used this MAC computer and my printer for the last 2 years. Additionally, I have a separate PC which is connected and able to communicate wirelessly. Finally, I signed up for Cannon Injet Cloud printing center and can view ink levels from my MAC, however I am still unable to print. I no longer have the USB cord, as I have never needed it. I'm at an impasse.

I have exact same issue. The printer has been working great, and all of a sudden, I can not connect it to my MacBook or my iPhone/iPad Pro anymore for a fews weeks now. Tried a ton of troubleshooting but nothing worked. I reset the printer and reinstalled the canon software a number of times... And then I tried a Windows laptop and the printer finally showed up there and worked just fine so this tells me this is a Mac and/or IOS issue...
I googled this issue a number of ways and finally found this thread. Has there been a resolution that you found? Hopefully something more helpful than the copy/paste reply from Canon....

Nobody has been able to help find a resolution, because we haven't gotten any answers to our questions. We need more information to be able to help troubleshoot.
• Do you see any error messages?
• Which version of macOS are you using?
• How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

Ok. Here are more details:
-WIFI Connection
-Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1
-Well when you try to add a printer it simply can't find it.
This printer has been working great with WIFI, basically, everything being the same, then all of a sudden it is just not detectable on the Mac. Oh, and on the iPhone and Ipad the same way, it was working ok before but then it is not detectable anymore. The printer seems to be working fine, connects to Wi-Fi fine, even connects to my Windows computer fine, and prints and scans all alright. So again it is Mac OS and IOS issue which feels like a network connection glitch with IP4 or IP6 settings or something to me.
