Magenta ink cartridge was showing it was empty. I changed the cartridge. Display said Canon cartridge was replaced but I still have an out of ink display.

Welcome. Is the replacement cartridge a Canon OEM ink cartridge?

The cartridge is a genuine canon XL 281.
