PIXMA TR8520 touchscreen not working and preventing Wi-Fi setup

sanjayrama66

My printer's touchscreen stopped working but printer was working fine until my router settings changed and I had to reset the router and its password. Now I am not able to connect my printer to the wifi as the touch screen is not working. Is there a way to make this work(connect to wifi) via desktop software connected via the cable to a laptop?

Hi sanjayrama66,

You  can use the IJ Network Device Setup Utility to change the settings on your TR8520 using a USB cable.

Once in the utility, connect the USB cable.  In the utility, click View and then Switch View to select USB.

Then you can follow the steps in the manual here:

IJ Network Device Setup Utility (Windows) > Performing/Changing Wireless LAN Settings
