PIXMA TR8620a touchscreen not working

Touch screen stopped working this morning. Tried powering off and turning back on to no avail. Did not see any software updates on support pages.

My Canon TR8620a touch screen stopped working.  I tried everything, and when I unplugged the unit for 30 seconds and restarted it, the touch screen started working again.  I don't know how long it will work but if you experience a similar problem, or even other problems try unplugging your unit to reset it.
