PIXMA TR4722 IJ Status Monitor Shows Printer online, ink levels, print queue nothing prints

On the Computer, Canon Status Monitor, shows TR4722 Online, Ink Levels,etc
and Print Queue, but nothing prints...WHY?

Can you explain a bit more about nothing prints? Does the printer start to print?

No, it does noot start.
This is a new printer, bought to replace a similar one, over 10 yrs old. 
When first installed, it worked fine, but now it does not print.  I did get a msg at one point which said
that the network speed was not supported by this printer, but do not get that now.
I was able to display the home network, consisting of 3 tv's, AURA, Ring, Computer, Canon Printer, etc.
