PIXMA TR4722 Help with Envelope Printing

Bricemb96
Contributor

I see the printer is suppose to work with printing on envelopes and I see the envelope guide sticker on printer but I can’t for the life of me get this thing to print on envelopes correctly.
Any recommendations? Also why do the mods think they have to edit each post and comment to bend customer inquiries to their benefit?

I wasn't seeking immediate assistance nor did i indicate that this was urgent.

Its on a community support forum obviously.

However Canon community support employees/mods obviously no nothing to provide basic information regarding their products and absolutely refuse to actually reach any bare minimum resolution.

Also its funny how you say

Obviously we know there is t immediate assistance via the community. It’s been since 10/20/2023… so don’t act like I was expecting immediate assistance and don’t receive it. It’s been about half a year and nobody responded to my last reply to the topic, I was completely ignored from that point.

Greetings,

Canon support for your printer is definitely available from the support portal

MyCanon

You have to open a case to receive help.

The reference posted by ArthurJ is also accurate.

Here are some additional alternatives.

I use MS WORD for printing envelopes, from my Canon Printers.

If you don't have MS Office, you can use Google Docs (free) or Open Office (also free).

Dude there is no option to open a case about it. I have attempted to contact Canon numerous times all which iv been connected with somebody incompetent that knew nothing about the company they work for or have a single clue about anything printer related.

Canon support is the absolute worst, there pretty much isnt support.

Hi.

You'll see your registered products when you log into your My Canon Account at https://canon.us/account

Tap your printer.

You should then see your printer at the top of the popup, along with the following (this is from my personal My Canon Account):

Tap on the double wrench icon that says "Product Support."

On that screen, you'll see the support options that are available to you based on your product and warranty/CarePAK status. This is what I get for the product I have (it's out of warranty):

If you don't see at least these options, you are not logged into your My Canon Account, or your printer is not registered.

Email support is not available for all products. Free phone support is only available while the product is under warranty, but you can pay for phone support.

after screwing around with this for a day, I plugged the cord into my computer.  bingo!  I couldn't get it to work on the wireless setting.
