Macintosh stopped printing envelopes correctly to MF743C

I've had this printer since 2020. I've been printing envelopes from my Mac Powerbooks without issues. In the past few months, since upgrading to Sequoia (I believe) I can no longer print a #10 envelope. It refuses to recognize I'm printing to an envelope and treats the page as a standard portrait page even though I very clearly chosen envelop in the individual software and on the printer paper selections. I've updated everything and restarted everything including the Printer and firmware and print drivers.

It does not matter which program I'm printing from. Both MS Word and Quickbooks fail.

Powerbook Pro M2 - 2023. Sequoia 15.2.
Canon MF743C - Firmware 13.1, Drivers: 4.0
MS Word: 16.92
Quickbooks for Macintosh: V21.0.11 R12.2

Hello!

It sounds like you've done a thorough job troubleshooting your printer issue. Since the problem persists across different programs and after updating everything, it might be worth checking if there's a specific setting or compatibility issue with Sequoia. You could also reach out to the printer manufacturer's support team for further assistance. They might have insights or updates that could resolve this issue.

Hello,

If the driver version is 4.0, you can try downloading and installing the UFR II/UFRII LT Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.19.23 from our Canon support site.

Once installed, you can go into printers and scanners and remove any old connections. After removing the old listings for the printer, you can click the option to add a printer to see if the issue has been resolved.

If you continue to run into problems, I suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.
