PIXMA MX922 won't print full page from my Windows10 desktop.

My old Canon PIXMA MX922 printer displays the word "left" and a numeral "1" on its screen and will not print a full width page on one sheet.  I've tried recycling power and everything else I could think off.  What's with that display, and does it cause the single page to be printed on two pages with a lot of wasted space?

Hi,

To begin troubleshooting, please try the steps HERE for resetting the printer settings. When you are in the reset menu, you will want to select the Settings only option.
