Hi rmaginniss.

To help the community provide helpful suggestions, please provide the following information:

How is the MX922 connected to the computer?

What operating system is running on the computer?

Have there been any changes to your network recently? (new devices, new router/modem, recent power outages, etc.)

The Canon Community Forum is not for immediate assistance. If this is a time-sensitive matter, you may click HERE to search our knowledge base, or create/log into a Canon Account and register your printer HERE for additional support options.

Thanks for replying.

It is connected on WiFi.  It is Windows 10

No changes to Network, hardware, etc.

Hello.

If the printer is being used wirelessly, check to make sure that the "Network" version of the scanner is selectedin the scanner menu at the top of the program.  Also temporarily disable any firewall or anti-spyware programs on the PC to see if this will allow you to scan.

Thanks for the suggestion.  It was set on Network.  I disabled the firewall and antivirus and it still will not scan.  Any other ideas to help?

Hi maginniss,

Please try reinstalling:

 1.  Press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter R, then let both go.

 2.  In the Run window, please type CONTROL PANEL and click OK.

 3.  Click on View devices and printers (or Devices and printers, depending on your view).

 4.  Right click the Canon MX920 series and left click on Remove device.  Repeat until all MX920's are removed.

 5.  In the upper left corner, click on Control Panel (or the Back button).

 6.  In Control Panel, click on Uninstall a program (or Programs and features, depending on your view).

 7.  Click once on "Canon MX920 series MP Drivers" and then click Uninstall at the top.

 8.  Follow the on screen prompts to uninstall the driver.  When you click Complete,  the driver is uninstalled.

 9.  Once done, please reboot your computer.

I did all the steps below.  Now it wont print.  This made it worse.  Please advise asap.

When you reinstalled, the installer detect your PIXMA MX922?  Were you able to complete the installation?
