PIXMA MX922 will not scan

I have had aa PIXMA 922 for several years and never had a problem. Now I cannot scan. I get error that it cannot communicate with the scanner. Code 5, 157,69 Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!

I did all the steps below. Now it wont print. This made it worse. Please advise asap.

Thanks for the suggestion. It was set on Network. I disabled the firewall and antivirus and it still will not scan. Any other ideas to help?

Thanks for replying. It is connected on WiFi. It is Windows 10 No changes to Network, hardware, etc.
