PIXMA MX922 Error Code 5011

I have a Cannon MX922, i am getting code "5011" cancel printing. Turn off and plug in, if problem persist call support. I did so and i am asking for help. did not work.

Brilliant, tried everything and was about to use it as a missile until I read your solution. To my surprise it works perfectly again, a thousand thanks. How on earth did you come up with that solution?

Hey I did this and now the printer will not turn at all. Nothing.

Thank you so much. Sorry, I don't see the accept as solution button. The printer DID come back fine tho after it was off for a couple days. Maybe I didn't follow the instructions correctly the first time. Thank you for your help. I do appreciate you.

After working fine for a few days the problem returned. It appears to be a very common problem. Anyway to cut a long story short I dumped it and went back to Epson and am now a happy printer.

Garbage printer. Replace the black ink for the first time and get 5011 error. Have done everything in this thread. Nothing. DO NOT EVER BUY A CANON PRINTER.

Buenas tardes, tengo una canon pixma TS9120 con codigo 5011, ya revise y no encuentro nada que obstruya el paaso de la hoja. ¿que puedo  Hacer?

I had this error code as well, to fix this issue power off and unplug it before it gets shut down all the way. I tried to power off and unplug it but didn't work so I decided to try power off and unplug before it shuts off, it worked on mine. Hope this helps everyone who has error code 5011
