Hi,
I suddenly got this same error...I tried something that I found online and worked. You simply need to clean the printhead and replace. Let the printhead dry overnight before replacing. Here's a youtube link below to remove and clean Canon printhead:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZheZf-vdho8
When replacing the printhead follow these steps.
With the printhead removed and cleaned go ahead and plug in your printer and turn it on.
The printer will turn on and instead of reading the B200 error it will say that you need to insert the printhead.
Open the cover and replace the printhead that you have cleaned.
Printer will now ask for the ink cartridges to be replaced.
Replaced the ink and "Praise God" the machine will work.
Hope this works!
Prayer changes everything!

Glad it worked. So far, and it's been about 3 months now, it's still working for me as well!

For anyone who's having trouble removing the print head, I also had trouble but eventually got it out so try this:
Grab the print head and lift/pull up and down on it (not violently).
After doing that I could freely slide it out to remove the ink and the print head itself.
I'm impatiently waiting for it to dry now so I can reinstall and try the other things mentioned in this thread.
Edit:
Alternatively, try this:

Hmmm, I didn't have to push the power and home buttons. Just cleaning and drying the print head. Anyway, Canon should officially post this information and let their support personnel know. It obviously works!

Hi Michael,
Thanks a lot. Wow.
Thats, that was very helpfull. That resolved the eroor that I had.
At Canon servise center here (at ISRAEL) ask me to pay something around 50-60 U.S. $'s (!!!), for changing the had. Almost a new printer price.
After I followed your suggestment and solved the problem, now the print moved a little right (not where it must to be). Tryed to align but this didn't solved. maybe you have one more suggest for me?
Thanks again

I tried all of the suggestions on this site, unfortunatly no luck. So i figured I would call the service center just to make sure. They told me to unplug the unit while it is stil on savng the error code. Then as the unit is turned off (by unplugging it) press the on off buton 5 times. If any of you are out there having the same problems after doing all of thee above, you can do what i did and throw it out the window. Accroding to service center there is nothing more you can do, game over, you get nothing, good day sir! You can stop reading this site now and schedule a visit to Best Buy. May I suggest an HP or Epson. And to think I was a die hard canon fan.
