My PIXMA MX510 has suddenly stopped scanning but I can still use it for printing. I have Windows 10 and the printer is connected by USB cable. Any ideas why this is happening or how I can fix it? Thank you.
When you say "suddenly stopped" do you mean without any changes to your computer, like operating system updates?
Yes. Everything was working fine until a couple days. My PC still recognizes the printer to print but when I start the Canon software to scan, it no longer scans the pages.
Maybe try reinstalling the driver.
I reinstalled both the driver and the software and now it's working again. Thanks.
