PIXMA MX492 Not Printing

I have a MX492 and it is not printing, it just sounds like it is rotating and the message only says canon. Any tips?

can someone help me? I( had an mx492 printer. It broke. I bought a used mx492 printer. I was able to connect to the router. Now, it will not print. Says printer is in error. I am not a Techy. I like the mx492 and would like to continue with this printer. I need help.
