My Pixma 6821 uses the 270 / 271 series ink cartridges.
I have error code 1413. The cartridge is a NEW Canon wider black ink cartridge.
Is there another way to address this issue.
Cartridges are expensive to have bought & then not be able to use!
A tech at Best Buy, where I got it and went to get a new black 270 cartridge today
said "take a clean cloth and rub the contacts where the cartridge is inserted
as some dust or grit there may interefere with the connection." I tried this several
times but it still won't 'recognize' the new black 270 cartridge!
