PIXMA MG6350 Prints No Text, Only Pictures

I have downloaded the latest drivers from Canon on my PC, but it still doesn't print any text, only pictures.
If I combine text and images, it only print images. If I print an image of a text, it does print the image with text, black on white background = it looks like a text document, but if I write on a txt document / Note Pad, there is nothing on the printed paper. The funny thing is that this process started gradually, with the text starting to fade, and eventually it was gone.

Yes, I wrote to Canon help center, really, this must surely be a common problem and is probably some upgrade gone wrong, if not on Canon's party, it could well be some windows/general shift that has left our printers behind, And all those expensive cartridges of no use. I wish there was just someonone techsavvy that could explain what to do, cause there is probably a simple solution to this problem.
