PIXMA MG5220 prints from PC/Windows, but PC no longer can tell printer to scan.

My 2010 Canon PIXMA MG5220 still successfully prints from PC (w/the orig driver & Windows 11), and also scanned well for a few years.  Now when I initiate a scan at the printer, its view screen prompts me to "See PC to start scan", but apparently I no longer have a scan app/driver/software on PC to interact with the printer.
I have downloaded/tried several drivers and software including below, but they have not helped.
Please advise.  Thanks!

Canon states there is no W11 driver for your printer, That is consistent with everything you posted; nothing says W11.

You could give canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON. If they confirm there is no driver then you could check VueScan by Hamrick Software.

The PIXMA MG5220 is not supported with Windows 11.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
