This printer  Canon PixmaMG3600  is just over a year old, It has been working very good until today .
I went to print something on my PC it showed up but would not print.

It is not connecting to the printer. I have the install disk so I ran it but still no good.
Then I connected the printer to my PC with the usb cable it is doing the same thing it just does not see the PC?

Hi!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the specific printer model you’re working with along with any other information you think might be helpful for the Community to know. There are a few different options in the MG3600 series so we want to be sure everybody knows the specific one! You can find this on the front of the printer or on top of the printer near the buttons usually. You may need to lift or close the paper tray to see it, typically it'll end in 20, 22, etc...

If this is a time-sensitive matter, please check out your other support options here.

Thanks!

I suspect your printer is the MG3620. Does your pc a Windows device, did Windows install any upgrades very recently? An MG3600 series printer will not automatically connect with a USB cable, it has to be reinstalled to work.

Here are the directions for your series of printer which also works with the MG3620

my printer version 3.3.0.0

The link I posted is a good place to start. I own a 3620 and it works well so I firmly think yours will too
