Hello,
My Canon MG 3620 will not print in black and white, and I cannot figure out how to solve this problem.
I am using a macOS Big Sur version 11.1
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Two Thurderbolt 3 ports)
Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
I have tried to do the textedit solution, but do not have the option to click print in the file folder.

Hi oliviadres,
First, let's perform a test of your PIXMA MG3620.
Please hold down the STOP button until the Error light blinks 1 time, then release it immediately.
Please compare your printout to the example below.
Does your page have a black grid at the top followed by 2 blue, 2 pink and 2 yellow bars?

I have the black, no blue, no pink. Then I have 2 yellow

Hi fra000nk,
Please perform a few printhead cleanings. To do this, please hold down the STOP button until the Alarm lamp flashes orange twice, then release it immediately. When complete, please perform that again.
After the 2 cleanings are complete, please print another test page.
If cyan and magenta still are not present, please replace the color ink cartridge with a new one.
