CANON PIXMA MG3620 HELP! MAC VENTURA SYSTEM

OML!! I am this close to throwing this printer at the wall please someone help me.

I have a Mac OS 13 system and can't seem to set up my Canon Pixma MG3620. I first tried installing the driver that came with the manual. I soon realized that that was for an old operating system for Mac after a lot of searching I found the correct driver and packages for the Mac OS 13 system. You need a USB cable to connect it and I have been trying for the past two hours and it can't seem to find the printer online. The printer isn't set up system. I have turned it on and off multiple times. I have even tried using my phone and no printer is detected. I have also tried using a different USB cable thinking that might've been the problem. I got to one point in the set up process where it detected the printer, but eventually the Canon IJ Network Tool just closed down, and when I opened it back up, it took me back to the very beginning back to square A. Please Help!!

Hi,

If your router has a WPS button, you can try connecting your printer to your network that way. Once the printer is connected, download/install the CUPS printer driver and ICA driver from HERE. Once that is done, go into printers and scanner and add the printer.

If the printer is still not detected,

I recommend you reach out to Canon support. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

I'm having the same issue. It worked for years, then all of a sudden the printer can't and won't connect to my MAC.

Why would this happen out of no where? and how do i fix it?
