I just opened a new Canon Pixma MG3500. The warning light flashes, and I am not able to even power the printer on or off.
The only cord attached is the power cord.
I have removed all of the packaging tape and protective pieces named in the set up guide.
I have unplugged the unit for 10 minutes and tried again to the same result. I then went ahead and installed the ink cartridges and again plugged it in - same result.
There are no 'typical printer start up noises/gear sounds, etc' upon electrical connection.
Any ideas?
