Seems like I having a problem where Canon Maxify 6021 says disabled on LCD screen, tried unplugging USB cord going from printer to USB hub, and plugging in to different hub outlet. Also tried hooking up ethernet from printer to wireless router (though I do connect printer via wired connection) - no difference. Have tried awful Canon website, no help. Have tried trashing old driver, and reinstalling driver, also installed update on printer. Currently have ordered cable to go from ethernet on printer to adapter to go to USB C on Imac computer. See if that helps.

@Canonappledude,
Lets see what can be done to get you connected and printing.
How long have you owned your Maxify 6021? When did the "Disabled" error first appear? Did you happen to see any errors or did you perform any actions before the printer stopped printing? Is it possible the ink absorber is full?
What version / build of MAC OS are you running?
You will not be able to use the printer until you determine and clear the "disabled" error. This can be due to ink delivery, a paper jam or a full ink absorber.
I would also like to mention that it's not advisable to connect a printer to a hub (powered or unpowered). This is known to cause detection issues and performance problems.
USB-C to Ethernet, this is also a unreliable (iffy) connection option. I recommend you pick one connection method and stick with it. Please avoid adapted cables or hubs which may actually work against you. This will also help us assist you more easily
A wireless connection is the most flexible and popular connection option since it allows any device connected to the same network to print.
Ethernet is second since it provides the same convenience.
USB is the least popular since it only allows printing from one device. It also requires fairly close proximity.
