PIXMA MG2922 problem, power button and triangle light blinking

I used this printer at Christmas with no issues. MG2922 is old I know but was working fine. Now I have the power and the triangle light blinking. What is the issue? I can't figure it out.

Please count the number of times that the power and error lights blink in between pauses.

Look up that error code in the manual using this link:

Once that page loads, scroll down to "Support Code Corresponding to the Number of Alternate Flashes of the ON Lamp and the Alarm Lamp"

The same thing happened to my printer. It worked just fine until all of a sudden the lights started blinking and the ink cartridges don't move when you open the door. I did what Patrick suggested already. All that does is give you a message to contact the service center. When you call them they tell you your printer has reached the end of it's life and ask you if they can sell you an upgrade. Fishy how they can just turn off your printer and make you buy a new one.
