I have win 10 pro 64 bit fully updated and checked with SFC and DISM. I installed my printer/scanner MG2550S with soft provided on CD 3 times ( comletely removing all traces of previous installs each time and clening all registry associated with Canon. I also downloaded soft from Canon support page many times and repeated the whole process 3 times tu rule out damage to download but still only the printer works. It's connected by USB cable and I tried out 3 diffrent cables so it's not that. During instalation it stops and says that scanner not connected right at the end stage. Windows does not recognize scanner.
What is the point of keeping outdated or corrupt driver files on web page? Web page was each time properly diagnosing system as win 10 64 bit before download of setup bundle.
